Barely 24 hours after his one-day working visit to Lagos state, President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday, April 25, arrived Maiduguri, the Borno state capital for an official visit.
President Buhari visited the state to commission some developmental projects, especially in the sectors of education, health care and roads.
Legit.ng gathers that the visit was confirmed by Bashir Ahmad, the media aide to the president.

Legit.ng had reported that President Buhari on Wednesday, April 24, arrived in Lagos on a one-day working visit to the state where he was scheduled to commission some projects embarked upon by Akinwunmi Ambode’s government.
Some of the projects commissioned were the institute of maternal and child health (Ayinke House), Lagos theatre, Oshodi transport interchange, the international airport road as well as 820 mass transit buses.
The president and his entourage landed at the presidential wing of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos at 10.32am amid tight security.
The report said the president arrived aboard a Nigerian Air Force Boeing aircraft with registration number 5N-FGT and was welcomed with a dance by cultural troupe and a 'Presidential Guard of Honour'.
A high number of security operatives were deployed to strategic positions at the airport. The security operatives were already at their respective positions at about 7.15am. It was gathered that they included officers from the Nigeria Air Force (NAF), Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
