Atletico Madrid goalkeeper, Jan Oblak, has been shortlisted as a potential replacement for David De Gea at Manchester United.

De Gea is currently unsettled at Old Trafford, with reports suggesting he is reluctant to extend his deal with the Red Devils.

The Spaniard has just 15 months left on his current contract with United, and want his wages matched with Alexis Sanchez's who is on around £400,000-a-week.

However, United are understood not to be open to De Gea's demands, throwing the Spaniard's future at the club into sharp speculation.

His current situation has forced the Red Devils' top brass to put in place a contingency plan in the event De Gea leaves.

Oblak recently penned new terms with the club, extending his contract until 2023 with a higher release clause inserted in the new deal.
