Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah on Tuesday night, April 24, joined a host of stars at the Time 100 Gala in New York after he was named one of the world’s most influential people.
The former Chelsea and Roma star was snapped with Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke and Oscar winner Rami Malek at the red-carpet event.
Salah was given time off by Liverpool gaffer Jurgen Klopp to attend the bash and will return to Merseyside in time for Liverpool's home game against Huddersfield at Anfield on Friday night.
And after being named on the list, Mohamed Salah delivered an inspirational speech in which he called for better treatment of women around the world.
"We need to change the way we treat women in our culture, that has to be, it's not optional," Salah said according to UK Mirror.
Mohamed Salah and his teammates at Liverpool are currently occupying first position on the Premier League standings with 88 points and three games to end the season.
This season in the Premier League, Mohamed Salah has played 35 Premier League games with 19 goals and seven assists for Liverpool.
