- Gary Neville believes at least players are failing under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
- Man United were handed a reality check following their 4-0 demolition by Everton
- Neville named Paul Pogba among the star players who have failed to live up to their billing
Gary Neville has identified at least five Manchester United players failing under club boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Neville's revelation came days after United suffered a 4-0 defeat against Everton on Sunday, April 21, at Goodison Park.
The embarrassing result forced Solskjaer to apologise to fans with a promise of making amends in the coming days.
The defeat further implied that the Red Devils have now lost six out of their last eight matches and now remain in danger of failing to seal a Champions League place.
Neville has now hit out at United's key players who have paraded poor performances in the recent past.
The former United defender named, key among them Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford, arguing they have the potential to turn around the club's fortunes but have failed.

"There are five forwards at that club – Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez and Paul Pogba – who is nearer to the front," Neville told Sky Sports.
"Star players, those five, they can be the best in their position, but all of them in this moment in time are well below their standard. Alexis Sanchez… I don’t know what’s happened to him," he added.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Mike Phelan, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's assistant coach, is reportedly set for a promotion at the club.
Reports in the UK have it that United are lining up the former player to become the club's first-ever technical director in what appears to be structural change at Old Trafford.
