AFCON 2019 is set to take center stage from June 21 and it promises to be a thrilling affair with various highly rated English Premier League stars expected to be in action.
The continental tournament will be the biggest yet with 24 teams ready to challenge each other for the title of Africa's greatest football nation.
Here's a look at seven EPL players sure to dazzle and impress Africa and the world at large in the competition scheduled to hold in Egypt.
7. Alex Iwobi - Nigeria
Alex Iwobi has benefited immensely at Arsenal under Unai Emery playing a pivotal role in the new manager's squad.
His attacking depth and ability to dribble will provide his Nigerian teammates with the necessary striking potency to get ahead in AFCON.
His body positioning, movement in and out of space is impressive to say the least.
6. Wilfried Zaha - Ivory coast
Wilfried Zaha has been instrumental for Crystal Palace and has been in brilliant goal-scoring form this season slotting a number of crucial goals for the Eagles.
If his performance against Arsenal is anything to go buy, then it is safe to assume Zaha will certainly be one to watch out for in terms of racking up goals.
5. Christian Atsu - Ghana
Christian Atsu was explosive for Ghana against Kenya in the final group stage qualifier.
He has regularly featured for the Magpies first team this season and has delivered impressive performance despite now playing second fiddle to Miguel Almiron.
The Black Stars left-winger will be one to watch out for in Egypt.
4. Riyad Mahrez - Algeria
Mahrez prefers to play of the right wing and the middle and is known for his blistering pace when he drives in from the right.
The ex-Leicester City star was a Manchester City target for long before joining the Citizens and any player wanted by Pep Guardiola that badly is not one to take lightly.
Mahrez is exceptional when it comes to free-kicks and in-swinging curlers.
3. Sadio Mane - Senegal
He is arguably the best African player in the Premier League this season. Mane has scored 22 goals across all competitions for Liverpool this season.
2. Victor Wanyama - Kenya
After shrugging of injury Wanyama earned himself a place in Tottenham's first XI and has been of tremendous benefit to Mauricio Pochettino.
His ability to marshall the midfield and ability to press forward and provide Spurs' attack with decent cover has propelled him as one of the EPL's finest midfielders.
1. Mohamed Salah - Egypt
Salah has the greatest advantage of all players seeing as AFCON will be held in his backyard.
The Liverpool forward has scored 67 goals in 98 appearances in all competitions and is in line to lift both the Premier League and Champions League if fortune favors the Reds.
