When asked if he would like to face Morocco as part of preparations, Rohr said: ''There is a possibility that we play a friendly match against Morocco before the AFCON, but nothing is decided yet.

The Atlas Lions, who are one of the favourites to win the 2019 AFCON, have not met the Super Eagles in an international match since 2004.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has made it clear that new players will not be invited into the squad for AFCON 2019 tournament.

Nigeria will be making a return to the tournament after missing out in the 2015 and 2017 editions.
