Karim Benzema netted a hat-trick as Real Madrid defeated Athletic Bilbao 3-0 in a tough La Liga clash on Sunday. April 21, at the Santiago Bernabeu.

And with time running out Benzema was on hand to complete his hat-trick on the dot of 90 minutes with a tap-in after Herrerin lost his man to help Real Madrid claimed all three points.

At the blast of the final whistle, the result sees the Los Blancos maintain their third position on the La Liga log with 64 points, while Athletic Bilbao are seventh with 46 points as they La Liga season heads to the finish line
