With many news from Borno and even the north east centered around terrorism which depicts danger and hopelessness, Umar - a hardworking young man from Borno, serves a beacon, proving to Nigerians that good can come out of anything.
A Twitter user identified as Ovieali shared photos of Umar, who spends most of his time building bicycles from scratch and selling them at KM 6 Dikwa road off police Hospital Maiduguri, and many internet users are proud of the young man.
Many have suggested that sponsors find him and help promote and support his work as this what needs to be encouraged in the region. Some have praised Umar's engineering skills and adviced that the country stops importing bicycles and instead focus of building young ones like Umar, who can change the future.
