- Mohamed Salah has emerged as a summer transfer target for Italian side Juventus
- Juventus want to sign the Liverpool forward so as to appease Cristiano Ronaldo
- Ronaldo is reportedly willing to leave the club after Juventus' exit in Champions League
Italian giants Juventus are reportedly planning to sign Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah this summer so as for them not to lose star man Cristiano Ronaldo.
This comes after the Old Lady's elimination in the 2018/19 Champions League as they were defeated 2-1 at home by Ajax in the quarterfinal second leg.
There are reports that Cristiano Ronaldo could leave Juventus in 2020 if the club fail to invest shrewdly in the transfer market with the star left devastated by the Ajax defeat.
Cristiano Ronaldo only moved to Serie A from Real Madrid back in the summer in a massive £105 million transfer deal.
And according to the latest report by La Gazetta dello Sport, Juventus want to sign an high profile player so as to appease Ronaldo.
The report also added that Juventus are even willing to offer Paulo Dybala plus cash to Liverpool for the possibility of them to sign Mohamed Salah.
Dybala has endured a rough season so far having struggled to shine in the wake of Ronaldo’s arrival.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly considering to quit Juventus before the expiration of his contract in the summer of 2022.
He joined them from Real Madrid last August in a four year deal valued around £105.30 million with the Champions League title the major target.
However, they were stunned by Ajax at the quarterfinals of the competition following their 3-2 defeat on aggregate to the Dutch League side after both legs.
