Quite a number of Nigerian landlords or landladies are no doubt suffering from a god complex. Many people are wise to pay attention to the temperament of a home owner when looking for accommodation.
It is not strange to hear of tenants facing hell at the hands of their landlords or landladies for petty reasons and they are forced to conclude that these home owners are just bad people.

The Penalty singer revealed that his former landlord at Agege made sure to torture him till he was forced to pack out of her house. According to him, he got on her bad side for paying his rent to the agent instead of to her directly.
In her bid to frustrate the singer, the landlady would lock the main gate by 8pm and even arrest the singer’s friends who visited him.
Interestingly, the singer explained that the house does not actually belong to the landlady but it was an inheritance and he rented the room given to her brother.
Small Doctor concluded the post by saying he will not curse the landlady but hopes she meets her waterloo in future.

In other news, Legit.ng reported that a Nigerian lady was left shocked after her prospective landlord informed her that he wanted only Yoruba tenants.
According to her, she had called an agent to make inquiries about a particular house that caught her interest. However, rather than focus on other details, the person had gone ahead to ask her what part of the country she came from.
Surprised at this rather unexpected question, this particular lady whose name is @Pimsss on Twitter asked why the agent wanted to know this piece of detail. He then went on to tell her the landlord of the house she was interested in only wanted those from the western part of the country.
