Nigerian singer Suni escapes electrical surge from mobile phone caused by heavy thunder

A celebrity star recently shared a personal experience with members of the online community in which he narrated how he survived an electrical surge resulting from a thunderstorm.

The Nigerian singer identified as Suni recounted his experience in a post shared on his Instagram page. He started off by giving praises to the most high for making him survive what could have been a fatal accident.

Going further into his narration, he explained that he had always come across social media posts that warned about the dangers of electrical gadgets and surges. For him, however, most of the warnings in these posts often fell on deaf ears.

"I most times stumble upon posts warning about gadgets and the dangers of electrical surge when used while connected to a power source, but of course it falls on deaf ears, and so last night I did it again for the umpteenth time." he said.

He, however, became a victim when he was hit by a strong electrical surge while he was listening to music on his phone which was also connected to an electrical socket, while it rained.

Suni explained that the rainfall resulted into multiple thunder strikes that caused an electrical surge which destroyed bulbs in his house as well as hurt him through his phone.

"I could feel my blood draining from my body, I could not let go of the phone even with that vigorous vibration till I was thrown from where I sat which disconnected the phone." he explained.
