Nigerian lady reveals how family member duped her of N600k

- A Nigerian lady has narrated how she was scammed by a family member

- The lady explained that the family member had convinced her to buy a land

- According to Lolo, her family members are now telling her to leave the woman and let them solve the problem as a family

A Nigerian lady identified simply as Lolo Chairman has cried out on social media after she was scammed of N600,000 by a family member. The lady had shared the story of how she was scammed on Twitter.

In a series of tweet, Lolo Chairman explained that she was scammed by a distant family member who tricked her into buying a land.

According to her, the family member had called her in January, saying that someone had offered to sell three plots of land in the village at a very cheap price.

She expressed that she had sent someone down to the village to check out and inspect the land. Lolo noted that since she was satisfied with what the person reported back to her, she paid for the land in February.

However, the family member claimed that the land was already sold to someone else because she did not pay on time.

Lolo stated that she asked the woman to send the money back to her but she refused and asked her to wait that she could get another land for her. She said the woman started giving her excuses after a while.

According to her, she found out about the scam after her mother called her to tell her that the woman used her N600,000 to pay for some personal stuffs.

She explained that she called the woman to tell her that if she does not pay her money back she would arrest her and her family.

The lady further stated that her family members, including her mother and uncles are begging her to leave the woman and let them settle it as a family.
