- Barcelona mock Manchester United with Lionel Messi on social media
- The La Liga giants defeated the Premier League side 3-0 in the Champions League
- United will now have to focus on finishing in the Premier League top four
Barcelona mocked Manchester with a hilarious post on Instagram following their victory at the Camp Nou on Tuesday, April 16.
The Catalan giants posted an image of their talisman Lionel Messi holding the ball, changing the words in Man United's song about their manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Messi brace silenced the Red Devils fans with the famous "Ole's at the wheel" song nowhere to be heard.
Since Solskjaer's arrival at Old Trafford in December, United fans have been belting out the tune to the Stone Roses classic "Waterfall".
And Barcelona's social media team were quick to use it to their advantage.
Shortly after the game, Barca posted a picture of Messi holding the ball on an artistic splash background on Instagram.
And they captioned it with words: "Messi at the wheel!".

And Solskjaer who has been already taken off the wheel congratulated the Spanish champions after the game, saying Barcelona are on a level United "have to aspire to".
He said: “The quality of their finishing was absolutely outstanding.
“We started well. In the first 15 mins we felt we've got something here and then in four mins they scored two goals.
“That is the Barcelona team here, that's the level we have to aspire to be like Barcelona
“We can get there but we have loads of work to do.
“If we want to get back to United's true traditions and level, we know we have to challenge the Barcelona's.
“I have to say they were a couple of levels above today and at Old Trafford."
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Messi's five-star performance gave the Red Devils no chance in turning around the first leg defeat at Old Trafford.
And with United's Champions League exit, fans across the globe commented on social media to vent their frustrations claiming that United's lacklustre performance was proof that Mourinho was right.
