Member of defunct music group PSquare, Peter Okoye, has advised parents to stop chasing after jobs and build a business instead. He shared the advice on his Instagram page, where he painted a picture of why having a business is better than having a job.
According to Peter, who himself is a father of two, parents should build businesses as opposed to securing a good job because when they die their children can only inherit their business but not their job.
He painted the picture of how when one dies, they are immediately replaced at their place of work. Okoye shared that the uncertainties that come with having a job is a reason for parents to focus on building a business in their lifetime so their children can benefit when they grow older.
