Four years after hanging his professional football boots, Barcelona legend Ronaldinho, has switched into music.

The 39-year-old Brazil legend recently launched his rap career by singing some lines in a political song months after the authorities seized his fleet of luxury vehicles.

Ronaldinho collaborated with his countryman Jorge Vercillo on the track 'Garra, as the former Paris Saint Germain star showed off his rapping skills.

According to the Mirror, the song has a strong political intonation, as they called for honesty and ethics in the Brazilian government.

Local media report that the music is also urging the Brazilian government to be transformed and corruption eradicated.

The former attacker posted a clip of the song on social media with the caption: "One more in the firm! GARRA, music from @jorgevercillooficial, @alexnunesyyzand @ronaldinho! Now on all digital platforms."

One of Ronaldinho's line in the song reads "we’re all a family on this planet”, which comes after his issues with the Brazilian authorities for not paying a fine accrued by his charitable institute. earlier reported that Barcelona legend Ronaldinho has been grounded by Brazil authorities over debt of £1.75 million.

The 38-year-old and his brother Roberto Assis were said to have been heavily fined for illegally constructing a building in a government protected area.
