CNN has announced that former host Soni Methu has passed away while she was in Kenya. The lady reportedly passed away at 34 years old, on Thursday, April 11.
According to CNN, the 34-year-old deceased host's death was announced by her sister Faith Methu. It was gathered that Methu collapsed and died while she was being rushed to the hospital in Kenya.
The host's sister said: "We don't know much but a post mortem will be done to tell exactly what happened."
34-year-old Methu had hosted Inside Africa, CNN International's longest-running feature programme.

In a tweet, CNN said Methu's death is shocking and saddened. The tweet said: "We are shocked and saddened to learn of the passing of our friend and former colleague Soni Methu."
"Our heartfelt condolences to her family and friends, from all at CNN."
She was described as an employee who had an ability to light up the room and was incredibly kind to those she worked with as well as people she met in her travels.
In another news, Legit.ng had reported that a newborn baby was abandoned by the mother. It was gathered that the baby was wrapped in a yellow blanket and dumped in a sack that was placed in front of a house.
