The Nigerian Senate has urged the federal government to do everything to secure the release of Leah Sharibu, the last Dapchi schoolgirl still in the captivity of Boko Haram.
Senator Shehu Sani had on Thursday, April 11, raised a point of order during plenary, drawing the attention of the federal government to the continuous captivity of Leah Sharibu.

He consequently called for legislative intervention to bring her and the remaining Chibok girls still in Boko Haram captivity back home, Channels TV reports.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that representatives of Chibok in Borno and Dapchi in Yobe on Sunday, April 7, sought spiritual help at the Synagogue Church of All Nations, at Ikotun-Egbe, Lagos to pray for the release of Leah Sharibu and other students kidnapped by Boko Haram.

Representatives who carried several placards told the general overseer, Prophet Temitope Joshua, that they were at the Synagogue because they had exhausted all human efforts to get the students released.
