Nigerians express sadness over killing of innocent Kudirat Adesola Afolabi in Saudi Arabia

- A Nigerian woman had been killed by authorities in Saudi Arabia over hard substance trafficking

- It was later gathered that the woman was found innocent after the culprits who planted drugs in her bag were found

- Kudirat Adesola Afolabi's bags has reportedly been planted with drugs while she was at the airport in Kano

On Monday, April 1, 2019, a Nigerian mother of two was executed in Saudi Arabia after drugs were found in her possession while she was in the country for lesser hajj.

It was gathered that investigations in Nigeria had concluded that the woman had no idea that the drugs were in her bag. According to reports, the drugs were planted in her bag by members of a crime syndicate in Kano.

The crime syndicate is said to be working with some officials at the airport in Kano where the woman boarded the plane to Saudi Arabia.

Nigerians have expressed sadness at the death of the woman who is survived by two children. They explained that her case was not properly investigated by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Authorities.

It was also gathered that the real criminals were already arrested and prosecuted in Nigeria. The Nigerian Consul was said to have contacted the the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Authorities twice over the killing of Nigerians.

They also complained that woman's death is also the fault of Nigerian government officials who failed to do something about the killings of Nigerians on foreign soil.
