- Paul Pogba admits Manchester United can upset Barcelona in the second leg of their Champions League clash
- Luka Shaw's own goal handed the Catalans victory in the first leg at Old Trafford this week
- Meanwhile, some United fans want the Frenchman to be sold, for the way he greeted Lionel Messi before kick off
Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is unfazed with his side's slim defeat to Barcelona in the first leg of their Champions League quarterfinal clash at Old Trafford.
The Frenchman believes the Red Devils can pull another dramatic comeback when they visit the Camp Nou next week for the remainder of the fixture.
Luke Shaw's own goal handed the Spanish League giants a goal advantage going into the return leg a week from now.
Pogba said United had a good game considering the quality of opposition they faced, adding that they gave them a run for their money in the game.
"It was a good game, obviously we're playing against Barcelona, one of the best teams in the world," SportKeeda quoted Pogba telling reporters after the match.
"But we gave them some problems as well, they gave us some problems but we know where we can hurt them.
"Now it's one leg gone, we have the other one and we're going to give everything in this one. We're going to do everything we can to make it happen and we believe it.
"They didn't really have a lot of chances, maybe one when David [De Gea] made a great save. But after that they weren't that dangerous, not a lot of chances."
Asked if he expected to see so many cracks in Barca's game, Pogba replied: "That's what we saw in the videos.
"We know that they are a very, very strong team offensively. One of the best in the world of course. But all teams have flaws. We know what their flaws are so we're going to target that next game."
Meanwhile, some Man United fans want Paul Pogba sold after seeing the way he greeted Lionel Messi when they were exchanging pleasantries before the kick off as reported by the Mirror.
The midfielder, who was adjudged to have had a poor performance in the meeting got the club supporters furious most especially after their club suffered a slim defeat to the La Liga side.
One of the fans tweeted: "Pogba hugging Messi and the Barca players with too much vigour... playing politics for the move."
Another one said: "Pogba's already f***** me off. Hugging Messi. Embarrassing." While the third one said: "You will see Pogba kissing and hugging Messi in the tunnel before the match and go missing for the rest of the night!"
While a fourth concluded: "Pogba hugging Messi? [Roy] Keane would have nutted him."
Legit.ng earlier reported that Barcelona are one leg through to the semifinals of this season's Champions League following their slim victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford.
The Catalans took the lead through an own goal from Luke Shaw who deflected Luis Suarez's header into his side's net in the 12 minute.
Both sides return for the concluding part of the fixture next week at Camp Nou.
