If you can barely feed yourself, please don't bring a child to this world - Nigerian man on childbirth

An internet user has taken to social media with his opinion on the issue of childbirth and how intending parents should be financially buoyant before entertaining the thought of procreation.

The Nigerian man identified as Arinze Odira, started his short note by expressing that people who can barely afford to feed themselves, should not attempt to bring a baby into the world.

According to the him, it is the height of irresponsibility.

He explained further that while the family, friends and a man’s wife may understand his financial situation, the innocent baby can never have a complete understanding of what is going on.

Odira, in his conclusion, strongly noted the importance of having a source of income, before going ahead to procreate.

“If you can barely feed yourself, please don't bring a child to this world. That's the height of irresponsibility. A baby won't understand that you don't have money. Your wife, family and friends may understand that but a baby won't. Have a source of income before procreating.” he said.
