A recent expository video has been making rounds on social media. The clips showcased a man who was being attacked by policemen. Not only was this individual harassed and beaten up, the sum of N300,000 was extorted from him.

The men who were members of the IGP Special Tactical Squad (STS) in Delta were caught on camera physically assaulting a young man they had met on the road. The said individual was driving a Toyota Camry at Osubi yesterday.

After they rough handled him, they arrested the young man and took him to Agbaro police station where they obtained his statement under pressure. It was reported that they asked him to agree to having two wraps of Indian hemp.

Given the level of coercion he was subjected to, he penned down all what he was told and eventually released his ATM card so that it was used to withdraw the sum of N500,000.
