Meet Jane Onyinyechi Ogwo the best graduating student at FUTO, she finished with a 4.9 CGPA

- Young Nigerian lady graduates as the overall best student in her set at the Federal University of Technology

A female student of the Federal University Of Technology, Owerri (FUTO), has graduated as the overall best student in the school. The student identified as Jane Onyinyechi Ogwo graduated with a 4.90 Cumulative Grade Point Average.

The brilliant lady graduated with a first class degree from the department of maritime and management technology.

According to reports, Ogwo graduated as the overall best for the 2017/2018 academic session which produced 42 first class students.

At the 31st convocation ceremony which took place on Saturday, April 6, the vice chancellor of FUTO, Francis Chukwuemeka Eze, praised the students of the set for their hard work.

Eze said: "The class had many brilliant and dedicated chaps, two narrowly missed bagging 1st class honours. One gave herself totally to mentorship, listened hard to the voices of motivation and worked very hard.

She made it as the overall 2017/2018 session best graduating student in FUTO with CGPA of 4.90. She has been chosen to deliver the valedictory speech on behalf of the 2017/2018 graduands at the 31st convocation ceremony."
