Nigerian writer shares cute stories about her late father who was laid to rest (photos)

A female Nigerian writer had paid tribute to her late father on social media. The writer identified as Arit Okpo did so as she shared cute stories of her father while she was still her child.

The writer shared her story on Twitter, and narrated some moments she shared with her father.

Okpo, who revealed that she would like to remember the imperfect moments she shared with her father, narrated some of the incidents.

In one incident, she explained that her dad her drove her everyday to the school she took her exams. She said her father would stay until she finishes every paper just to be sure that she was okay.

On one of the occasions, her father's car refused to start and they were stranded on a deserted road which scarred her father. She explained that on the next day her father refused to take the car and he took her to a car park instead.

She noted that he would usually waiting until the bus was filled up, and he would be there to pick her up when she returns after the exam.

Another incident was when she became old enough to drink alcohol with her father. She said the moment had played out exactly how she imagined it.

The lady explained that she would like to remember the imperfect moments she shared with her dad.

Okpo, who stated that she and her father have similar personalities, expressed that she would always be proud to be his daughter.
