Samuel Umtiti has insisted he wants to stay at Barcelona despite being linked with Premier League side Arsenal.

The France international has been plagued with series of knee problems in recent months and has lost his place to fellow countryman Clement Lenglet.

Lenglet has stepped up his game while Umtiti was recovering on the sidelines, casting doubts over Umtiti's long term future at the Camp Nou.

And a number of top European clubs have shown interest in the World Cup winner, with many of them waiting for him to make a decision about his future at Barca.

Arsenal are among the teams waiting to cash-in on the Frenchman as they are in dire need of a central defender.

The Gunners are enjoying a remarkable season under the tutelage of Unai Emery and are one of the favourites to join Man City and Liverpool in the Champions League next season.

And if they finish their season on a high, this will automatically become a very attractive proposition for the likes of Umtiti.

However, Spanish news media outfit Marca, claim that the Frenchman has committed his future to Barcelona despite being tipped to join Arsenal.

Umtiti is reportedly convinced he can win his place back in Ernesto Valverde's side once he gets back into full fitness.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Barcelona are set to offload French centre-back Samuel Umtiti.

According to Goal.com, the summer World Cup winner, who was linked with a switch to Manchester United and other clubs in the English topflight is likely to be sold in the region of €70million.
