2019 recruitment: Nigerian Navy reveals new date for aptitude test

The Nigerian Navy (NN) has said it would hold an aptitude test for its 2019 recruitment on April 13 in 30 centres across the nation.

Legit.ng reports that Commodore Suleman Dahun, the Navy spokesman announced this in a statement issued in Abuja.

The Navy said candidates should report by 8.00am at their chosen centres selected during the online registration as indicated against their names

''The Nigerian Navy (NN) wishes to inform the general public that the Aptitude Test for the 2019 recruitment exercise will hold on 13 April 2019 in 30 centres across the nation.

''Applicants are advised to visit www.joinnigeriannavy.com for names of shortlisted candidates. Candidates are to report by 8.00am at their chosen centres selected during the online registration as indicated against their names.

''Candidates would not be allowed to write the Aptitude Test in any centre other than their chosen centre. Candidates are to come along with HB pencil, eraser and print out of the application form showing particulars of candidate.

''In view of the importance of this information, you are please requested to disseminate for general public awareness.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had previously reported that the Nigerian Navy (NN) said the chief of the Naval staff, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas has approved a major re-organisation of the upper echelon of the Nigerian Navy. The Navy spokesman, Commodore Suleman Dahun, announced this in a statement on Monday, April 1, in Abuja.

The spokesman explained that the new chief of policy and plans Naval Headquarters is Rear Admiral Begroy Enyinna Ibe-Enwo while Rear Admiral Apochi Suleiman, formerly commander Joint Task Force Operation DELTA SAFE, moves to Defence Headquarters as chief of defence administration.
