The Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) has apologised to pensioners over the delay in payment of their pension benefits for the month of March 2019.
A statement issued by the management of the directorate on Monday, April 1, explained that the delay was as a result the "delayed release of funds".
The statement signed by the PTAD's management and posted on Twitter reads:
We would like to apologise for the delay in pension payment for the month of March 2019. This is due to the delayed release of funds.
Payments of pensioners accounts will be done once the funds are received.
