Tweeps blast lady who got Canadian citizenship for saying she'll burn her Nigerian passport

- A Nigerian lady identified as Ehi on Twitter recently took to the platform to celebrate becoming a Canadian citizen

- In her celebratory message, she revealed she was going to burn her Nigerian passport

- This statement however, did not go well with many Nigerian Twitter users who took to the platform to call her out

With the growing insecurity and horrible standard of living in the country, there has been a massive emigration of Nigerians to other countries with the hope of meeting greener pastures for a better future.

This is why a Nigerian lady identified as Ehi, was all shades of excited when she finally became a citizen of Canada after spending a few years there.

She took to the Twitter platform to share the news with her friends and followers, accompanying the news with some photos of herself.

In her celebratory message, she revealed she was going to burn her Nigerian passport. While many people celebrated with her, some Nigerians on the platform however, expressed anger and disappointment over her derogatory remarks about the Nigerian passport which they stated would always be part of her identity.

Meanwhile, a Nigerian mother of two identified as Joy Nnenne has taken to social media to thank God for blessing her and her daughters. The lady revealed that her daughter had gained admission into six Ivy League schools in the United States.

The woman revealed that her daughter, Ketandu Deborah Adaeze Chiedu, had gained admission into Harvard, MIT, Stanford, Yale, Princeton and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
