Ander Herrera wants to earn £200,000-a-week in new Man United deal

- Ander Herrera has informed Manchester United he will not be signing a new deal unless his weekly pay is reviewed

- The Spaniard's contract with the Red Devils expires at the end of this season

- Arsenal and PSG are monitoring the midfielder's situation at the club

Ander Herrera has reportedly informed Manchester United to increase his pay before agreeing to sign a new deal.

The 29-year-old's current contract with the Red Devils expires at the end of this summer and both parties are yet to reach a conclusion on way forward.

Herrera says unless he earns about £200,000-a-week, he will not be committing his future to the club, according to SunSport.

French League giants Paris Saint Germain are also monitoring the midfielder's situation at Old Trafford as they are hoping to strengthen their squad.

Meanwhile, Daily Mirror claims PSG's interest in the former Athletic Bilbao star has seen his wage demands at United hiked up by £70,000-a-week.

The Spaniard currently earns about £130,000, but Man United are not planning to give in to his demands as they seem to have offered him a deal around £170,000.

Herrera has scored two goals and three assists in 20 Premier League appearances for the Red Devils this campaign.

He was also the club's best player in 2017 - three years after joining the club from Spanish side Bilbao.

The midfielder has also been a key member of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad since the Norwegian arrived in December 2018.

He was however missing in his side's 2-1 narrow win over Watford owing to a hip injury but should be back for the Reds soon. earlier reported that Premier League rivals, Arsenal, have entered the race to sign Manchester United midfielder, Ander Herrera.

According to a UK Metro report, the Gunners are ready to rival French giants, Paris Saint-Germain, who are also interested in the services of Herrera.

The Spaniard will be out of contract with the Red Devils this summer, and is now said to have received a £150,000-a-week contract from PSG. ( -> We have updated to serve you better
