Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Sergio Aguero suffered a knock during his side's 2-0 win over Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday.
The Argentine scored the Citizens' second goal of the fixture in the 27th minute to take his Premier League goal tally to 19 after 31 round of matches.
City took the lead as early as the fifth minute of the encounter though Bernando Silva with Aguero providing the assist to the goal.
He was however withdrawn from the match in the 57th minute after refusing to continue the game.
"He says he felt something, but hopefully he's not injured," said Guardiola after Saturday's match.
He decided on not continuing. Hopefully it will not be a big issue. We will see tomorrow, maybe the day after tomorrow."
Meanwhile, the EPL defending champions are still contending for a historic quadruple, having already won the Carabao Cup this term.
They will also continues their quest for their first European glory this term when they battle Tottenham in the quarterfinals of the Champions League next month.

Gaurdiola said: "Seven games left for the Premier League, and it's easy: we have to win every game to be champions.
"We have a tough, tough opponent - but that's the challenge. "It was a tricky game for us after the international break, but the way we started was amazing.
"The players surprised me again. We showed how focused we are to try to do our best."
Legit.ng earlier reported that Argentine striker Sergio Aguero scored in Manchester City's 2-0 away win against Fulham at Craven Cottage.
His goal came barely 22 minutes after Bernando Silva opened scoring for the Citizens, with the 30-year-old providing the assist for the opening goal.
City return to the summit of the log temporarily until the game between Liverpool and Tottenham is decided on Sunday evening.
