Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has revealed his admiration for Man United’s Paul Pogba as he claims that the midfielder "knows how to do everything on the pitch".

Speaking ahead of Real Madrid’s game against SD Huesca in La Liga, Zidane says Pogba brings so much to a team and there are few players who bring as much as he does, BBC reports.

Zidane said: "I know him personally.

"He brings so much and there are few players who bring as much as he does.

"He's a midfielder who knows how to defend and how to attack," added Zidane, who returned to Real Madrid on 11 March less than 10 months after leaving the Bernabeu.

"But he is not my player, he is at Manchester.

"He has always said that, after Manchester, Madrid has always interested him. So when his experience at Manchester ends, why not come here to Madrid?"

On his part, Pogba who has been linked with Real Madrid all through this season, described the club as "a dream club for every player" while on international duty with France.

Since the coming of Solskjaer who replaced Mourinho in December, Pogba's form has improved, with the 2018 World Cup winner scoring nine times under the Norwegian.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Real Madrid have re-appointed club legend Zinedine Zidane as their manager barely ten months after walking out of the club last May.

The Spanish League giants made the announcement on their social media platform on Monday, March 11, as Santiago Solari was relieved of his duties at the club.
