- Teenage sensation Moise Kean scored three minutes after coming on to hand Juventus a vital win
- Juventus were missing the services of Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala for the game
Red-hot Italian youngster Moise Kean came off the bench to score the winner as Juventus beat Empoli 1-0 to stretch their lead at the top of Serie A table to 18 points.
The 19-year-old scored three minutes after his introduction as he volleyed home in the 72nd minute.
Kean has now scored six goals in his last eight matches including the international break.
Juventus were missing the services of Ronaldo for this encounter after he suffered a thigh injury on international duty for Portugal.
In what looked like a double blow for manager Massimiliano Allegri, Dybala also joined Ronaldo on the sidelines, after dropping out of the warm-ups.
However, teenage sensation Moise Kean stepped up in their absence to score the winner which powered Juventus to 78 points, 18 points clear off their closest rival Napoli.
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Cristiano Ronaldo will not be risked for the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final against Ajax, Juventus President Andrea Agnelli said.
The Portuguese talisman injured his right muscle and limped off in a Euro 2020 qualifier against Serbia.
