A middle-aged woman has apparently seen hell on earth after she recently discovered that her life savings had been stolen by fraudsters. A Twitter user identified as Blacq_Arab shared a clip in which the yet-to-be-identified lady could be seen crying and wailing.
According to the post which was shared on Twitter, the woman rushed to an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) in Asaba, Delta, with her children and pleaded with people on the queue to use the machine that she needed to check her account balance.
Upon checking her account balance, she burst into tears and broke down in public, claiming that fraudsters had wiped her account and stolen N400,00.
People on the queue tried helping her by lifting her up and many social media users who have come across the post are showing support by alerting authorities who can help out.
Meanwhile, the Economic and Financial Crimes (EFCC) has taken its fight against criminal activities to the southeast with results to show for it. The commission recently arrested not less than 13 internet fraudsters in Enugu and six more in Port Harcourt.
Recovered items include Toyota Avenza, Lexus Jeep, Toyota Hilux, Toyota avalon, Mercedes Benz, Benz- E350-4Matic, Toyota Camry XLE Benz- GLE 450, iPhones and laptops.
