“Every strength, might, wisdom, power that God has given us, we will deploy them to work for the state. I want to thank God for not putting us to shame.”

Earlier, he guest preacher and founder and President of the Living Faith Church worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, said God saved the state from being consumed by the plans of evil people.

Meanwhile, a sociopolitical organization based in Akwa Ibom state, Akwa Ibom Liberation Movement (AILM), has stated that the leadership of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state was not prepared for elections but instead depended on federal might to muscle their way into power.

The group was responding to the Akwa Ibom APC chairman's call for relocation of the state elections tribunal from Uyo to Abuja.

The leader of AILM, Prince Emmanuel Sam, said APC lacks moral justification to point fingers at any person or organization, stressing that few honest members of the party have admitted honourably that their party did not prepare for the election.
