Wilfred Ndidi, Super Eagles and Leicester City midfielder, currently ranks no 1 in the list of English Premier League tacklers so far.
According to a report on EPL’s official Twitter handle and website on Friday, March 29, revealed that that the Nigerian international successfully executed 109 tackles for Leicester City in the current campaign.
But the defensive midfielder presently share the top spot with Crystal Palace defence ace Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Interestingly, Ndidi, who arrived the King Power Stadium in 2017 from Belgian side Genk is 19 tackles from equaling his last season’s record for the former Premier League champions.
At the last count, the 22-year-old Eagles combative midfielder has featured in all 31 Premier League fixtures for the Foxes, netting two times in the 2018-19 season.

Ndidi is expected to be in the thick of the action on Saturday, March 30, when Leicester City tackle Bournemouth at the King Power Stadium.
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Ndidi was in action as Super Eagles of Nigeria defeated Pharaohs of Egypt 1-0 in a tough international friendly on Tuesday night, March 26, at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba.
A goal from Paul Onuachu who plays for Danish club FC Midtjylland handed Nigeria the win over their visitors.
And it took Onuachu eight seconds to score his first goal for Nigeria on his first start which is now said to be the fastest ever for any Super Eagles player.
