Bookmakers are tipping Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to claim the Premier League title at 3/1 – and expects the Norwegian at 10/1 to be fired in 2019.

The UK Sun claims Solskjaer was handed Man United managerial role on Thursday, March 28, after a successful run at Old Trafford after Jose Mourinho was sacked mid-December.

At the last count, Solskjaer has guided the Red Devils to 14 wins in 19 matches and just two points adrift of Arsenal in the quest for a Champions League next season.

Despite his performances Betfair bookmakers are upbeat the United legend is three times closer to winning the EPL next campaign than getting fired this year.

The 46-year-old Solskjaer penned a three-year deal as he looks forward to bring back the good old days of attacking football to Old Trafford.

Earlier, reported that Manchester United permanent manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has handed a list of three players he wants signed in the summer.

The list includes the trio of English youngsters in Declan Rice, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and Jadon Sancho.

According to reports, Solskjaer is keen to rebuild United's spine with homegrown talents ahead of the summer transfer.
