The Lagos state governor Akinwumi Ambode has described the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, as a leader worthy of emulating and celebrating.
Governor Ambode while delivering the keynote speech at the 11th Bola Tinubu Colloquium in Abuja on Thursday, March 28, said Tinubu spearheaded the APC's victory at the presidential, governorship, National Assembly, states House of Assembly elections across Nigeria.
The governor said the colloquium themed: Next Level: Work For People, is coming at a time when Nigeria and the Nigerian people are eagerly looking forward to the next level.
He said the them of the colloquium is perfectly conceived as it fits the moment and needs of the Nigerian people.
Ambode said the country and other present at the event is not just celebrating Tinubu's birthday but celebrating the 'progressiveness' of the country - under the leadership of the APC - where the citizens would be given all that is due to them as a people.
"We are here today because Ahmed Bola Tinubu has been a very key part of this growth," Ambode said.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that President Muhammadu Buhari felicitated with Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as he celebrates his 67th birthday.
In a statement by his special adviser on media and publicity, Femi Adesina, on Wednesday, March 27, the president described the APC leader as a strong democratic pillar.
President Buhari recalled Tinubu’s political struggle in 1993 and applauded him for not pursuing personal gain.
