Premier League giants Manchester United have appointed caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the club’s full-time manager on a three-year contract.
The 46-year-old has been superb for the Red Devils since his arrival at the club on a temporary basis in December 2018.
Solskjaer, who spent about 11 years at Old Trafford during his playing days, has kept the club in contention for the Champions League title this term.
They also eye a top four finish on the Premier League table in spite of a poor start under former handler Jose Mourinho.
Man United currently sit fifth on the table with 58 points after 30 round of matches - two behind Arsenal who are also eyeing a spot in the UCL spot at the end of the season.
The Norwegian tactician has led the Red Devils to 14 wins in 19 appearances - losing three and drawing the remaining two since he arrived late last year.

"From the first day I arrived, I felt at home at this special club," Solskjaer told Man United website after his appointment.
"It was an honour to be a Manchester United player, and then to start my coaching career here.
"The last few months have been a fantastic experience and I want to thank all of the coaches, players and staff for the work we’ve done so far.
"This is the job that I always dreamed of doing and I’m beyond excited to have the chance to lead the club long-term and hopefully deliver the continued success that our amazing fans deserve."
After his appointment, some of Man United stakeholders and fans took to social media to express their delight at the recent development at the club.
Solskjær scored 126 goals in 366 appearances for United during his reign at the club between 1996 and 2007 and also managed the club’s reserve team until the end of 2010.
