In recent times there has been a lot of controversy surrounding the one year compulsory National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) programme. The programme is mandatory for all graduates and the certificate is very instrumental in getting a job.
However, quite a number of people have clamoured for the cancellation of the programme seeing as some graduates have lost their lives in their bid to serve their father’s land.
Legit.ng recently gathered the report of a young corps member who has been declared missing. According to @tweetmankind on Twitter, the lady identified as Cynthia Amarachi Nwawuike is a serving youth corps member in Osun state.

She was also last seen boarding a bus from the state to Lagos and has been declared missing since March 15, 2019.

The Nigerian lady identified as Agomie Ummie Mimie reportedly passed away while she was on her way to her National Youth Service Corps camp in Kaduna state. The lady had passed away in an accident.
