Surviving Cardi B: Rapper admits to crime earlier in life, says all she can do now is to be her better self

Social media was recently set on frenzy after a live video of international rap star Cardi B surfaced online. The rapper had made some disturbing revelations in the video, which triggered off a chain of reactions in the online community.

In the video, Cardi, was spotted in a car as she made a live video session in which she had dished out what she would do to a guy that cheats on her.

According to the rapper, she would go out with such guy and get him drunk. This would be followed by taking him to her room, inviting a third party over, and having carnal knowledge of him without his consent.

In another video that also surfaced online, the international rapper also admitted to robbing men of their money back in the days. Both recordings have now gotten her trending on popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter, with a unique hashtag, tagged ‘#SurvingCardiB’

Reacting to the viral videos, Cardi has now taken to her social media page with a long epistle in which she admitted to making the claims in the videos, adding that she has never come out as being a perfect human, as such, she would always take responsibility for her actions.

She revealed that she regrets some of the things she has had to do for survival in the past, which is why she makes a conscious effort not to glorify violence or killings in her music. Cardi also disclosed that the choices she made were born of limited options, and she remains grateful, to have been able to rise from her past regardless.

Owning up to her crimes, Cardi concluded that some of the men she had abused were people she had dated and as such, they were willing and aware.
