- Man Utd have been handed huge injury boost as 8 players set to return against Watford
- Jesse Lingard went to Dubai for warm-weather training as part of recovery process
- Eric Bailly, Antonio Valencia and Matteo Darmian are ready to face Watford
Manchester United have received a huge injury boost with eight squad members set to return from injury against Watford this weekend.
According to Mirror, the likes of Eric Bailly, Antonio Valencia and Matteo Darmian are ready to return from injury, but Alexis Sanchez is still out with a knee ligament injury, which will keep him out for another 21 days.
At the last count, interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer saw the likes of Marcus Rashford, Luke Shaw, Nemanja Matic, Romelu Lukaku and Anthony Martial pull out of international duty with various degree of injuries.
However, they are likely to be ready for Man United's Premier League date with Watford on Saturday, although Lukaku might need more time to recover from a foot injury.
In addition, Valencia, who is expected to quit United as a free agent in the summer after 10 years at the Theatre of Dreams, returned to action for Ecuador in a 2-0 defeat to USA last Friday, after not playing for United since a 2-0 win at Newcastle since January 2.
But Valencia is unlikely to be included in Man United's 18-man matchday squad.
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Eric Bailly suffered an injury during international duty and was substituted during a Group H AFCON qualifying match.
Bailly was in action for Ivory Coast in their last Group H Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers match against Rwanda. He scored Ivory Coast's second goal as The Elephants stunned the East African side 3-0 to cement their qualification for the continental competition.
However, the defender had to be substituted late into the game after a nasty collision with an opponent.
