Ahmed Musa has excused himself for the international friendly between the Super Eagles and the Pharaoh's of Egypt.

The match is set to hold at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, Delta state on Tuesday, March 26.

But in an exclusive chat with Legit.ng, the Al Nassr striker revealed he had to return to his base in Saudi Arabia to resume club duties.

"I'm not at the camp, I have to go back to my club," Musa told LegitSports.

Gernot Rohr's men finished at the top of Group E with South Africa coming second after beating Libya to take the final slot in the group.

Leon Balogun, John Ogu and the likes who were rested for tie are expected to return to the team after failing to start against Seychelles.
