Phil Neville has advised Manchester United caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to make quality signings in the summer.

The Norwegian is poised to become manager at Old Tarfford on permanent basis after producing magnificent results since replacing Jose Mourinho last December.

United will be seeking make reinforcements in the summer so that they can compete for the Premier League title and Solskjaer will handed responsibilities to make new signings.

Solskjaer's former teammate and coach of England Women's team Neville, revealed there would be four new signings for the Norwegian boss to make at Old Trafford next season.

He was asked to name his dream United XI for next season on Premier League Today, with seven current first-teamers making it in alongside his four signings.

David De Gea will be in goal, then the back-four comprises Luke Shaw, Diogo Dalot with Victor Lindelof and Real Madrid's Raphael Varane's pairing in center-back.

Nevill's three-man midfield included, Paul Pogba alongside Tottenham's Eric Dier and Barcelona former Liverpool man Philippe Coutinho.

The attacking trio involved Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Real Madrid and Wales star Gareth Bale.
