We will not share power with PDP - Oshiomhole tells incoming lawmakers

- National chairman of the APC has declared that the party will not share power with the PDP

- Oshiomhole said the party will carry out extensive consultation with the president and leadership of the party at all level to arrive at a zoning formula

- According to the chairman, the zoning formula will be one that will be acceptable to all members of the party

Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Monday, March 25, insisted that the party is not ready to share power with the opposition in the National Assembly.

The national chairman said the APC will not allow what happened in 2015 to reoccur in 2019 as the party will need a collaborative legislature to provide good governance to the people, The Nation reports.

Oshiomhole disclosed this while meeting with incoming lawmakers on the platform of the APC.

Going further, he said that the party leadership will carry out extensive consultation with the president and leadership of the party at all level to arrive at a zoning formula that will be acceptable to all members and the party.

Recall that Legit.ng had previously reported that the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Monday, March 25, will meet to take a decision on the leadership of the 9th Assembly according to a member of the NWC.

Legit.ng also reported that the meeting would be held to decide on the zoning of the positions for the leadership of the National Assembly.
