Social media was set in frenzy some days ago when a video of a young primary school girl identified as Success, surfaced online. In the video, the young student was evidently angry after being sent away from school for owing school fees.
The video clip which had become an instant sensation in the online community had attracted the attention of many Nigerians, with some well-meaning citizens going the extra mile by offering to help the young lady.
Nigerian celebrities like Ayo Makun, Toke Makinwa, Wale Gates and a host of others were among those who reacted to the young girl’s plight and offered to do their bit in addressing the issue.
Noticing that Success and her family had gotten financial assistance from the public, the lady who recorded the video, Stephanie Idolor, took to social media to demand compensation from the family.
According to her, if she had not recorded and posted the video on social media, the family would not be enjoying all the gifts and financial assistance they are now getting.
Although many had berated the young lady for being greedy and entitled, it appears some Nigerians have listened and heeded to her call for compensation.

He said: “Stephanie Deputy Speaker say make you send your account make he credit you 500,000 naira to take start business. Shey matter don settle? Please send your account ASAP as e Dey hot.”
Similarly, it was gathered that the principal secretary to the governor of Delta state, Hilary Obi Ibegbulem, has made the promise of a car to Idolor.
According to him, Idolor was the real hero and not the little school girl. He allegedly made the promise of the car gift on Sunday, March 24, while hosting some members of Okowa and PDP social media team in the Squash club of the Delta state government house, Asaba.
