Euro 2020 qualifiers began across Europe as heavyweights Spain and Italy go off to a winning start in Group F and J respectively.
Spain recorded a hard-earned 2-1 victory over Norway at the home ground of Valencia, Estadio Mestalla.
Local favourite Rodrigo set the ground running in the 16th minute as he side-footed home a cross from Jordi Alba to make it 1-0.
Alvrao Morata was denied a brilliant goal by Norwegian keeper Rune Almenning Jarstein who made a fantastic save from the Atletico Madrid striker's header.
The Scandinavians got back into the game in the 65th minute as Bournemouth forward Joshua King scored from the penalty spot to level matters.
Spain got their noses back in front through their inspirational captain Sergio Ramos from a spot-kick. Morata was fouled in the box as the Real Madrid defender made it 2-1.

Meanwhile, Italy got off to a comfortable 2-0 win over Finland at the Stadio Fruili. Nicolo Barela unleashed a bullet of shot to put the Azzuri ahead in the seventh minute.
Juventus strike Moise Kean justified his start in Roberto Mancini's side as the 19-year-old ensured Italy got all three points with a cool finish. It finished 2-0.
