- President Buhari's aide, Lauretta Onochie, has replied the House of Reps speaker, Yakubu Dogara, over his comments on 2019 general elections
- Dogara had said that no evil doer in the 2019 election would go unpunished
- Onochie, however, said she would prefer that the riggers of 2019 election be consumed by Amadioha
Lauretta Onochie, a social media aide to President Muhammadu Buhari, has said that 'Amadioha' and other deities would consume those who purportedly rigged the 2019 general elections.
Legit.ng reports that while reacting to the speaker of House of Representatives Yakubu Dogara's comment that no evil doer in the 2019 election would go unpunished, Onochie said called on all the deities in Nigeria to consume the election riggers in Nigeria.
According to her, consequences for electoral crimes are rarely applied, so Idigun, Shango, Amadioha and others will mete out punishment to election riggers.
Many Nigerians have faulted the outcome of the presidential, National Assembly, governorship and state House of Assembly elections, accusing the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of colluding with the APC and the PDP to rig elections.
They listed irregularities and electoral fraud as challenges that bedeviled the 2019 electoral system.
It was gathered that the 85th emergency National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the PDP which held in Abuja on Wednesday, March 20, Dogara had described the 2019 election as evil, saying those who engaged in quest for power at all cost will get their reward.
The speaker also criticised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the conduct of the 2019 elections.
He said: “What has happened (the 2019 elections) is pure evil. Our consolation as members of this party is that evil does not last and no evil doer has ever escaped punishment. If they do what others have done before, they will see what those who did evil saw. Definitely they cannot escape from it. It is a law of nature and it is in the scripture of God, that whatever you sow, you shall reap."
