Police allegedly arrest Mavin artists DNA Twins in Lekki

Reports making round in the online community have it that two singing acts signed to a popular record label in Nigerian have been arrested by officers of the Nigerian police.

Music group DNA Twins, signed to ace producer Don Jazzy’s music label Mavin Records, have been allegedly arrested by the police in Lagos.

A social media user identified as King Lagatha, took to Instagram with an alleged video showing the moments the singers were picked up.

It was alleged that the officers of the law had taken after them following a tip off that the two were in possession of huge sum of money on them.

Reports further claim that the police were involved in a car chase with them before moving in on them somewhere in the Lekki axis, after which their car was seized and they were both taken away.

A visit to Don Jazzy’s social media pages does not show any statement on the issue. Similarly, the last post on the DNA Twins’s Instagram page appeared to have been published a day ago.
