- Alexis Sanchez joined Manchester United in January 2018 from Arsenal
- He has endured a grueling campaign with the Red Devils since the sensational move
- The Chilean has however revealed he is determined to succeed at Old Trafford
Manchester United star, Alexis Sanchez, has revealed that his major goal is to make the supporters happy.
The Chilean joined the Red Devils from Arsenal in January 2018 and became the club's highest paid star at Old Trafford.
However, he has struggled in front of goals since he arrived last year - scoring just three goals and six assists in 29 EPL appearances since he arrived at the club last year.
Sanchez believes his struggles are over and is determined to succeed at the club as they are gunning for the Champions League title.
“When I was younger, I liked United. I swear. As a small child I liked United, I really liked them," Sanchez told Inside United.
Sanchez has endured a difficult campaign with the Red Devils since his sensational move from Arsenal in January 2018.
The Chilean's failure to replicate his spectacular form at the Emirates at his new home has seen him linked with a summer departure.
However, the 30-year-old has come out to reveal his desire to succeed at Manchester United, insisting he is committed to his boyhood club.
“United are such an important club, not only in England but on a global level, and I would love to help bring a trophy to the supporters," he said.
“Obviously, I want to make the United fans really happy. I want to score goals. I want to bring them joy. I want to win silverware," he added.
The former Barcelona star is currently nursing a knee injury he sustained during a league match against Southampton a couple of weeks ago.
He will be hoping to make an instant impact when he makes his return to action.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Man United star Alexis Sanchez could remain on the sidelines for the rest of this season after suffering a knew injury in his side's dramatic win over Southampton last weekend.
A brace from Romelu Lukaku and one from Perreira handed the Red Devils maximum points after regulation period.
Rendering Yan Valery and James Ward-Prowse's goals mere consolation for the Saints who opened scoring in the 26th minute of the game.
