Jose Mourinho has denied claims he penned a leaked scouting report on Barcelona.

The Mirror report claim, the tactical report of Chelsea's Champions League fixture with Barcelona in 2006, is currently online and was allegedly put together by Mourinho.

In the report, Chelsea squad members were told to foul Lionel Messi, who was on his tens at the time, while Ronaldinho was branded a "constant cheater".

The document also contains the strengths and weaknesses of each member of Barcelona squad.

But Mourinho maintained he never played any part to the report and is unhappy that Performance Analysis in published the document on social media.

“Official reports were always done by analysts, assistants and computer technicians, but never by me," Mourinho was quoted as saying to the Sun.

"The last report I wrote I have it at home. I was in Barcelona and this was in the 1999/2000 season. I was assistant and I shared with other colleagues the responsibility of analysing and preparing documents about our opponents for the manager.

“Since I arrived at Benfica and until now my analysis never became official reports, but key ideas that helped me to prepare the training work and the matches planning,” he stressed.

Mourinho's assistant Andre Villas-Boas was linked with the reports ahead of the Champions League encounter.

Chelsea ended up being knocked out by Barca as they lost the last-16 encounter 3-2 on aggregate.

Chelsea’s Asier del Horno was sent off during the match after a rough tackle on Messi as penned in the tactical analysis.

Samuel Eto'o netted the winning goal for Barcelona at Stamford Bridge after a 1-1 draw in the first leg at the Nou Camp.
