- Jose Mourinho has revealed when he will stage a comeback to club management
- The Portuguese also hinted he has already rejected three job offers since leaving United in December
- Mourinho was linked with a return to Real Madrid early March before opting for Zinedine Zidane
Jose Mourinho has disclosed when he will be returning to club management after rejecting about three to four jobs so far.
The Mirror citing beIN Sports in France, claim the 55-year-old Mourinho, who was sent packing by Man United mid-December is keen on resuming managerial duties at the end of the current season.
Interestingly, Mourinho was linked with a return to Real Madrid, with claims president Florentino Perez wanted him back in Madrid.
However, some senior squad members moved against Perez's plans, making way for Frenchman Zinedine Zidane to make a surprise return to the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Portuguese tactician believes his time will coming as he prepares for his next job.
"It does not matter where I'm going, to a place where I can still win, it's been two and a half months since I've been without training and I'm already preparing for the next challenge," said Mourinho, speaking to beIN Sports in France.
"I'm not on vacation or bored, or as if I did not have anything [to do]. I am preparing myself.
"When you work in football daily with six press conferences a week, three games, video sessions, match analysis, everyday problems - We do not have time to take care of ourselves. These months [I have had time] to do it and I will come back even better prepared,” noted Mourinho, who was quick to state that his primary focus is to return to club management in the summer.
"The coach position is very special I like the daily work, competing in several competitions, playing games," he stressed.
"I want to train a club, I want to find a place for this summer, in June for the preseason.
"I know exactly what I do not want, that's why I've already rejected three or four offers.
"And I know what I want, not the name of the club, but the work style, workload.
"I know what I want and that's what I hope for,” Mourinho.
